Website Design & Development

A good website starts with the right questions: Who should visit it? What should that person understand, feel, do? And what impression should they take away from your business?

At CXUnity, these questions inform the design from the very beginning. Every website is built individually, grounded in a real understanding of what lies behind.

Approach

Experience thinking is not an add-on. It is the starting point.

At CXUnity, a website does not start with technology — it starts with an understanding of how people think, decide and act. Questions about the target audience, user behaviour and the core message come first, not last.

The foundation is three disciplines that converge at CXUnity: consumer psychology, business informatics and digital marketing. The result is websites that do not just look good, but actually work.

In the initial conversation, we look together at which features and content genuinely contribute to the goal. That creates clarity from the start about what the project needs and what it should achieve.

Technology

The technology follows the project, not the other way around.

Whether custom code in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, a CMS for self-managed content, or React for more complex frontends: the technology chosen depends on what you need and what makes the most sense for your users.

If you want to manage content yourself, you get a solution that makes that possible. If speed and a tailored implementation matter most, you get exactly that. We figure out the right fit together in a free initial conversation.

Process

From the first idea to the finished website.

  1. 01
    Initial call

Goals, target audience, scope and technical requirements are discussed together. What should the website achieve? For whom? What is already in place, what is missing? This conversation creates a clear picture of what the project needs.

  2. 02
    Concept & structure

Page structure, content logic and user flow are defined. Where needed, a PR/FAQ is developed as a foundation. The technology decision is made. Design only begins once structure and goals are clear.

  3. 03
    Development

Design and implementation flow together. The website is built directly in code or in the chosen CMS, responsive, fast and focused on what matters. Work in progress is shared continuously and feedback is incorporated along the way.

  4. 04
    Review & feedback

The finished version is reviewed together. Open points, change requests and final corrections are collected and prioritised.

  5. 05
    Revisions

All collected points are addressed. If needed, there is another round of feedback — for as long as it takes until the website is truly right.

  6. 06
    Launch & handover

The website goes live. For CMS projects, there is a walkthrough on how to manage content independently. CXUnity remains available after launch too, for questions, small adjustments and the start of operations.

Scope

What to expect.

Concept & structure

Page structure, content logic and user flow are developed together before a single line of code is written.

Responsive implementation

The website works on all devices: smartphone, tablet and desktop. Responsive behaviour is considered from the start, not added as an afterthought.

Support after launch

CXUnity remains available after the website goes live. For CMS projects there is a walkthrough on content management. A direct line is available for questions and smaller adjustments.

Note: Hosting and domain are not part of the scope, but can be set up without any hassle. Which additional content is needed and who contributes what is something we clarify together in the initial conversation.

"David got fully involved in our business from day one. He took the time to get to know the operation from every angle before making a single suggestion. Together we worked out what we actually need and what we do not. He kept our wishes in mind throughout and the result speaks for itself. He made time for meetings even outside regular business hours. The collaboration was very intense and very trust-based. What came out of it fits us perfectly."

FAQ

Common questions about website development.

What do I need to bring as a client?

Essentially: an idea of what the website should achieve, and the willingness to provide content. Texts, images and logos come from the client. Anyone who does not yet have finished content gets clear guidance on what is needed and in what form. Everything else is worked out together.

How long does a website project take?

It depends on the scope. A compact website with clear content can be ready within a few weeks. More complex projects with multiple pages, CMS integration or specific functionality take correspondingly longer. A realistic estimate is available after the initial conversation.

Can I update content myself after launch?

Yes, for CMS projects. WordPress and Contao make it possible to manage texts, images and pages independently, without any technical knowledge. There is a walkthrough after launch and support is available afterwards if needed.

What is the difference compared to an agency or a website builder?

With a website builder like Squarespace or Wix, you pick a template and fill it with content. That is quick, but the result is usually not tailored to the individual client. With an agency, many people work on a project, which means coordination effort and a higher price. At CXUnity there is a single point of contact who thinks along from the very beginning: in terms of content, design and technology.

Do you work with templates or website builders?

No. Every project is built around the specific requirements of the client. There is no template that simply gets filled in. Structure, design and technology are always developed fresh and suited to the particular goal. That takes more thought, but leads to a result that genuinely fits.

How does the collaboration work in practice?

Directly and without detours. There is a single point of contact who accompanies the project from start to finish: in terms of content, design and technology. No handoffs to other team members, no intermediary layers. That means short communication paths and a result that is coherent throughout.

What if I am not yet sure what I need?

That is a good starting point for an initial conversation. Many projects begin exactly there. Together we can figure out what the website should achieve, what scope is realistic, and whether a digital strategy or PR/FAQ might bring more value than jumping straight into development.
